Beverly Ann McKenna

Beverly Ann McKenna, age 72, passed away peacefully at home on September 9, 2025, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.

Beverly touched the lives of many through her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She had a generous spirit, a heart full of love, and showed kindness to all. Beverly will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Beverly was the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy Brockhaus. She is survived by significant other Michael Gudde, children; Sarah Marlott (Andrew), Pam Jennings (Michael) and Raymond McKenna; grandchildren Jordan Marlott, Austin Marlott, Clayton Jennings and Callie Jennings; siblings Ron Brockhaus (Joyce), Donna Cochran (Clint), John Brockhaus, Jim Brockhaus (Jayne), Joe Brockhaus (Susan), Steve Brockhaus and Shirley Wingard (Jake), seventeen nieces & nephews, thirty-three great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Paul and Patrick and sister-in-law Leesa Brockhaus.

Beverly was a 1971 graduate of College High. She was a homemaker until 1986 when she began a 33-year career at the Bank of Holden and Central Bank. She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, gardening, riding the motorcycle and enjoying Thirsty Thursday with the group. She found joy in the simple things and always made time for those she loved.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Holden with Father Curt Vogel officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvery Cemetery in Holden. Pallbearers will be Danny Brockaus, Kyle Brockhaus, Eric Cochran, Dale Cochran, Chris Brockhaus and Wyatt Woolery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Schearer, Mike and Edwina Moon, Bob and Trina Anstine and Steve and Debbie Weigand.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2025 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Johnson County Cancer Foundation or Mount Calvery Cemetery in honor of Beverly's memory.
