Eric Scott Surber, 36 of Urich, Missouri passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

Eric was born November 13, 1988 in Lee's Summit, Missouri, son of Ronald Scott Surber and Lela Machelle Hopkins. Eric was passionate about fishing, hunting, camping, and especially spending time with his family. He was a loving father, son, and brother.Survivors include his parents: Lela Mears (Edward); Ronald Surber (Betty); children: Jenifer Surber; Curtis Surber; Austin Surber; Bennett Surber; Wyatt Surber; Morgan Puls; Colt Surber; sisters: Emily Surber (Jimmy); Lindsey Surber (Brandon); step siblings: Daniel; Heather; Jessica; Chris; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Edgar and Betty Hopkins; paternal grandparents: Ronald and Sue Surber; and aunts: Teresa Willbanks; and Kathi Surber.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne "Jersey" Tucker, Alex Hopkins, Cord Nichols, Brandon Courtney, Jimmy Harren, and James Degraffenried.
