Ms. Beverly Faye "Sissy" Owens

Beverly "Sissy" Faye Owens was born April 19th, 1955, to Preston Hike Owens and Catherine Owens of Zafra, Oklahoma. Sissy passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at her home in Zafra, Oklahoma.

Beverly was employed for many years and retired from U.S. Motors of Mena, Arkansas. She was a regular customer of the Dollar General store and always kept a fully stocked candy bowl at her house for any kids that came to visit. Beverly greatly enjoyed being outdoors and in her younger years enjoyed picking wild berries. She will be greatly missed by so many that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hike and Catherine, and her brother Leon. She is survived by her brother, Quinton (Jock) Owens and wife Karlene of Zafra, Oklahoma; sisters, Judy Floyd and husband Tommy of Hatfield, Arkansas, Phyllis Green and husband James of Zafra; nieces, Sarah Bass, Mandy Green, Stacie Spears, Sondra Hoobler, Jenise Charlton, Emilee Johnson, and Marietta Sharp; nephews, Brandon Floyd, Clint Owens, Ethan Owens; as well by numerous great nieces, great nephews, other family members and friends too numerous to mention.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 25th, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena. Funeral services will be held the following day, Thursday, February 26th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Beasley-Wood Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas. Brother Todd Webb will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hatfield, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Tell Evans, Clifford Johnson, Mike Owens, Chazz Byrd, Marcus Bass, and Stanley Stinson. Honorary pallbearers are Garland Owens, and Tony Fairless.
