Mona Lisa Watson

Mona Lisa Watson, age 62, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at her home in Mena, Arkansas. She was born in Tampa, Florida, to parents, William Jake Watson and Mi Jai (Jalley) Watson.

Mona was a friendly and loving person. She never met a stranger she didn't like and loved meeting people. She enjoyed shopping and traveling, swimming, playing video games like Super Mario Bros and she loved playing bingo, bingo, bingo. But above all else she loved her big family.

Mona Lisa Watson is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mi Jai Watson; brother, Bill Watson; brother-in-law, Randy Standridge; sisters-in-law, Faye Watson, and Theresa Watson; as well as by her great-niece, Trinity Standridge. She is survived by her brothers, Eugene Watson of Mena, Arkansas, and Jake Watson of Mena, Arkansas; sister, Joyce Standridge of Mena, Arkansas; nephew, Jerry Standridge of Mena, Arkansas; niece, Selena Hill of Mena, Arkansas; as well as by a host of other family and friends too numerous to mention.

Services for Ms. Mona Lisa Watson will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Mena, Arkansas. Jerry Standridge will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
