Beverly Smith Sanders, 78 of Transfer, PA passed away September 5, 2025 after struggling with a long battle of Parkinson's Disease.
Born in Grove City, PA on May 24, 1947 to Boyd Earl Smith and Maxine Mayberry. She is survived by her husband James L. Sanders, Jr, whom she married on September 14, 1968, a daughter Nicole Fenton (Craig), and a daughter Jennifer Boyd (Brad), Five grandchildren, Brooke Miller (Kegan), Jacob Boyd, Peircen Fenton (Jessa), Hunter Bresnan, Jaden Boyd. She was blessed to have 4 great grandchildren. Also surving are nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and a sister Shirley Blake (Bill).
Bev was a graduate of Reynolds High School and continued her education at Edinboro University where she enjoyed Art and even had one of her works displayed at the main campus. Some of Bev's occupations included driving school bus for Reynolds Jr./Sr. School district, which she enjoyed, and a teller at FNB bank until her retirement in 2008. Some of Bev's enjoyments were spending time with family, attending all of her grandchildren's sporting events, crafting and crocheting and spending time in God's word. One of Bev's favorite bible verse was 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith."
For anyone that knew Bev could see she was one of the most giving, sincere and genuine person, full of love and compassion for everyone in her life. She never gave up.
Upon the families wishes a private service will be held.
