Survivors include her son Chris Slaydon and his wife, Rhonda, of Fred; daughter-in-law, Amanda Slaydon of Silsbee; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Eileen Williams and her husband, Clayton, of Silsbee; and Barbara Hamilton of Huntsville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jennie and Elton Decuir; son, Trey Slaydon; daughter, Chelsye Slaydon; and sister, Elise Williams.
A memorial service for Ms. Slaydon will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church of Silsbee, 855 Highway 96 South, Silsbee under the direction of Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
