She was a graduate of Forrest City High School, and later moved to Chicago and Evanston, IL where she worked and spent a large portion of her adult life. Later she returned to Forrest City, Arkansas and eventually moved to Springdale, AR.
She is survived by a son, Mr. Nicky Rashard Smith-Campbell of Springdale, AR, daughters, Miss JaQui Watson of Iowa, Miss April Watson of Nashville, TN, brothers, Mr. Barry Smith of Forrest City, AR and Mr. Ricky Smith Green of Dallas, TX, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Watson's funeral will be held Saturday, 04/05/2025, 11:00 AM at Beth Salem Baptist Church on Garland Street. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, 04/04/2025, from 3:00-4:00 PM at Clay Funeral Home, 2522 East Broadway
