Beverly Sommerer, age 74 of Loganville, GA, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024. She is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Engelbrecht; sister, Shirley Engelbrecht; sons, Christopher J Sommerer and Kevin L Sommerer. Beverly is survived by her husband, Alvin Sommerer; grandchildren, Brooke Worley and husband Heath Worley, Lauren Sommerer and Easton Brown; two great grandchildren, Bennett and Chloe Worley; she is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Michelle Brown and husband Robby Brown.
Beverly was best known as Bev or Nana. She was born November 7, 1949 in Jefferson City, Missouri. She had a long career with many friends at BD Lee Laboratories. She most enjoyed her time with her grandkids and cooking for her family. Beverly was a nurturing soul and had a way of making everyone feel at home.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Beverly Sommerer will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, Georgia with Pastor Fred Hartley officiating. An inurnment will take place at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens at a later date. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
