Billy Kent Carmack, age 83, of Dayton passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 25, 2024. He was born in Miamisburg, Ohio on September 1, 1940 to the late Vernon and Callie Carmack. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Caitlyn Carmack; brother, Vernon "Tee" Carmack; brother-in-law, Gary Marcum; father-in-law, Delbert Hays and mother-in-law, Helen Hays.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Connie; children, Dan (Trelena) Carmack, Tim (Susanne) Carmack, Kathy (Terry) Miller, Randy (Beckey) Carmack; grandchildren, Holly (Mike) Helm, Robert (Jennifer) Carmack, Brandon (Leslie) Carmack, Eric Carmack, Meagan (Ben Pointer) Miller, Melissa (Todd Wogoman) Carmack, Brianna Carmack, Amelia Carmack, Sara Eisele, Jezdan Eisele, Rylea (Jake) Zartman, Ricky Conn; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita (Lonnie) Rose and lifelong friends, Bill and Theresa Hamblin; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill graduated from West Carrollton High School, Class of 1959. He worked at General Motors for 33 years and retired in 1999. Bill loved fishing and playing golf with family and friends. He was an avid league bowler for many years. Bill also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and performing small engine repairs for anyone who pulled in the driveway. Bill will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him.

Family will receive guests from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Miami Shores Baptist Church (4000 Vance Rd., Moraine, OH 45439) where a funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Interment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens in Centerville, OH.
