Bill Cobb transitioned from this world September 19, 2025, Ames, Iowa and began a new journey in the universe. Bill had his partner of 52 years, Barbe, at his side as he left.
Born November 16, 1948, a birthday he happily shared with his son Ty. After his discharge from the Navy, he eventually came to live in Ames. It was here that he met Barb in August 1972. They became roommates September 1972, married June 1973, parents in November 1974 to their son Ty and parents to their daughter Bree in 1987.
Bill and Barbe shared an adventurous life together, filled with creativity and a passion for emotional growth.
There will be no memorial service. Bill requested to honor him, people show compassion and plant seeds of kindness.
Bill was a caring son, loyal brother, loving partner, joyful father, devoted son in law, thoughtful brother in law, supportive uncle, a steadfast friend....just a damn nice guy.
