Bill F. Harris, 83, of Poolville, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, in Weatherford. Bill was born September 7, 1937, in Shady Grove, Texas, to Tom W. and Eunice Boley Harris. He was a truck driver for Central Freight Line for 42 years and received recognition for being an accident free driver. Bill was a member of the Church of Christ, enjoyed raising cattle, growing peanuts and watching western movies. He will forever be remembered for his support of Poolville High School athletics.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Ruminer and Bonnie Duvall.
Bill is survived by his sisters, Mary Nell McConathy, and Peggy Bradley and husband, Lee, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the Poolville Cemetery Tabernacle. Memorials may be made to Poolville Volunteer Fire Department at 16140 FM 920, Poolville, Texas 76487.
