Billie Jean Renfrow

Bille Jean Renfrow, 84, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong resident of Tipton County. Billie attended Covington First Baptist church for the last ten years although she was home bound for the last three years. She was an active member of Rialto Baptist Church and Central Baptist Church in her younger years. She enjoyed being a part of the choir, teaching Sunday school classes and leading womens bible studies. Her love for the Lord and her passion to study and know Gods Word has left a lasting legacy with the many students she has taught. Billie worked in the Circuit Court Clerks office for over 20 years in Tipton County and was the office manager for the Public Defender's office until her retirement in 2006. She was well known for her kindness and generosity with everyone she came into contact with. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. "Jerry" Renfrow, Her son, Kenny Young, and parents, Holmes Farmer and Lottie Mae Combs Farmer. She survived by her two sisters, Elizabeth Sage and Linda Burnett (Jimmy) and one brother Skip Farmer (Sherry) two Children, Mike Young (Lynn) and Kathy Davis (Keith), Seven Grandchildren; Anna Ray (Jeff White), Amy Gwin (Trey), Emily Winters (Ben), Whitney Young, Justin Joy, Daniel Joy (Ashley) and Joshua Joy, Seven Great-Grandchildren; Aaron Ray, Hunter Ray, Drake McNeley, Cash McNeley, Reese Gwin,Daviney Gwin, Rowan Winters, and Harrison Joy and One Great-Great Grandchild, AnnaLee Ray.A visitation will be held on Monday, December 02, 2024 at Maley Yarbrough Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm. Burial will be held at Covington Memorial Gardens
