The beloved son of William and Bridget (Keane) Armstrong, Billy was a shining example of compassion and joy. Though his father William predeceased him, he is survived by his devoted mother Bridget, his caring sister Sharon, her husband Michael, and his adored nieces Shaylah and Keira, his cousins Michael, Liz, Tricia and Bridget and their families as well as a very large extended family. Billy Played for the Scotland National Lacrosse Team in the World Games and was a Three time All-Section and Empire State player. Billy was a 4 time letter winner at Loyola College in Maryland. He loved lacrosse and basketball, excelling not only the field but the court as well. Billy played on the CYO Championship team for the Diocese of New York.
As great of a competitor as he was on the field, Billy was an even better friend. Billy was known for his great sense of humor. He had the rare ability to light up any room with his presence, and his laughter was a melody that resonated in the hearts of all who knew him. His kind-hearted nature made him a cherished friend and a beloved family member. He was a beacon of positivity, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a joke to brighten someone's day. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and the enduring power of family and friendship. He will be truly missed by all who knew him and his infectious smile and humor.

Words can't describe the amount of sadness this news has brought us. We along with so many are beyond devastated by this news! I always had the best memories with Cousin Billy SR and when we got to see young Billy. We've been blessed with such an amazing family and always when we reconnect it feels like time never passed by.
He has left this life too soon and will be missed so much! I am sorry we can't be there together with you but know we will be there with you in spirit. Sending all of our love during this very hard time.

Love Always,
Carol, MaryJane and Jay

First met Billy when the family came over to Scotland for my great grandma diamond wedding anniversary around 1986 time as my great grandma was my uncle Williams mum so Billys grandma that would have been.
I met the family again when i visited them in New York in 2001.
Young Billy was a lovely lad, full of fun and laughter and just an absolute pleasure to be around in the company of. We had great laughs and shared family memories with both him and William senior.
To Sharon , Bridget and the whole family. Please know that I send my warmest condolences and all the love in the world at this very sad time. I cannot believe the news.
Rest in Peace young Billy .
I wish i had been able to visit the New York side of my family more often.
God Bless you all. Thinking of you and love you loads.
