  Billy (Bill) H. Evans completed his earthly journey to heaven on the morning of October 7, 2025, at age 92. He was born on August 5, 1933, in Peaster, Texas, to Goldie and Johnny Evans.

  Bill married the love of his life, Helen, at the young age of 16 - being married 76 years in August of 2025. He was successful in all aspects of his life. Bill was a brick mason, realtor, home builder, and wholesale greenhouse business owner. The most important accomplishment in Bill’s life was being a husband, Daddy, and Grandpa to all of those kids.

  Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Sherrie; and his daughter, Freda.

  He is survived by his loving wife, Helen; daughter, Debra Bigham and husband, Ronnie; and son, Mike Evans and wife, Susan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Gruben and Pam Wright; brothers, Mack Evans and wife, Nancy, and Darrell Evans and wife, Kathy; and brothers-in-law, Billy Herron and George Herron. Bill will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

  To honor Bill's life, the family is holding a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
