Billy Dumas Obituary

Billy was born at just 4lbs in a field near the family farm in Tolar, Texas in 1931. He was a graduate of Tolar High School in 1948. He served in the Navy as an Aviation Machinist Mate Second Class during the Korean War. After the Navy he married the love of his life, Martha (Porter) Dumas in 1955 and had one son. He was employed at General Dynamics for a number of years and later retired from Clardy Manufacturing in Haltom City as a plaster pattern marker.
Billy was an avid rancher his entire life. He raised beef cattle and other livestock. He valued his family more than anything, especially his great grandchildren. He was an instant friend to everyone he ever met and inspiration to our family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death: Parents, Bertha and Ernest Dumas; Beloved wife, Martha Dumas; Son, Andy Dumas; Siblings, many relatives and friends.
Survived by: Grandson Alan Dumas of Granbury, Texas. Grandson Andy Dumas, his wife Amanda Dumas and children Aubrey, Makenzi, Billy, Matthew, Emma and Molly of Justin, Texas.
