Billy Sherrell Greenfield, 90, resident of Nashville, died Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday September 16, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with David Greenfield officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday, September 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born June 23, 1934 in Columbia, TN, he was the son of the late Carl Greenfield and the late Mildred Mills Greenfield. Mr. Greenfield retired from Sears in Nashville, where he had been employed for forty two years. He was a loving husband and father, and was Church of Christ by Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Billington Greenfield, whom he married on January 31, 1959; son, Keith (Watchari) Greenfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie Greenfield, Harlen Greenfield, and Dean Greenfield.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank the caring nurses, therapists, and staff of Alive Hospice and his doctor, Dr. Judson Rogers, and MSICU staff at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center.
