Born on November 15, 1990, in Auburn, Billy was known for his fun-loving personality and his knack for harmless pranks that always brought a smile to those around him. He enjoyed playing video games and exploring nature, often taking hikes in the woods to appreciate the outdoors.
Billy is survived by his father, Joe Johnston of Waterloo; mother Cindy Martin of Oregon; and his half-brother, Jeramiah J. Soule of Butler.

I had many years of good memories and experiences on & off with Billy. My sisters and I miss him, he was like a brother to us all. My hope is that in the midst of grief we all eventually find peace, and that his passing brings awareness to the cause of harm prevention. Let us never forget the precious good memories we all have of him.
May his soul rest in peace, and may all of us heal well.
