Billy Lewis Martin, 73, of Quaker City, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, at SEORMC.

Billy was born on May 5, 1952, in Dayton, a son of the late Everette and Wanda (Bellar) Martin.

Billy worked as an automotive repair man and a carpenter. He also was the owner of Quality Rubber Bumpers. He was a member of the American Legion in Batesville and was a jack of all trades. Billy was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. He enjoyed collecting all things Nascar, spending time with people and taking his dogs on golf cart rides. His fur babies were the loves of his life.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, James and Larry Martin, and two sisters, Shirley Routson and Karen Martin.

Billy is survived by his wife, Linda (Benner) Martin, whom he married September 11, 1987, two sons, William "Bill" (Carol) Martin of Troy and Shannon Martin of Troy, one daughter, Emily (Jerry) Chenier of Brookville, three sisters, Sharon Capps of Miamisburg, Donna (Jim) Fox of Huber Heights, and Jeanne Martin of Greensville, SC. Also left to cherish his memory are his eight grandchildren, William "Bill", Rebeka, TJ (Jamie), Robert, Elizabeth (Tyler), Katie, Trinity, and Bryce (Maraiah), and his sisters-in-law, Sherri (Bill) Nelson of Strongsville and Brenda Benner of Medina, as well as numerous great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Guernsey County Dog Shelter.
