Billy LeRay Montgomery

Billy LeRay Montgomery, 44, of Copan, OK, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, at his home. Billy was born July 30, 1981, in Bartlesville, OK, to Kenneth LeRoy Montgomery and Linda Ray "Walker" Montgomery. Billy graduated from Dewey High School in 1999 and then went to work at Wendy's, where he was a good worker and was once recognized as Employee of the Month. It was through his landlord, the late Brian Little, who introduced him into working as a ranch hand. Brian worked at the Sale Barn in Coffeyville and Billy started out helping him there. Billy enjoyed that type of work and found his career. Billy loved his family dearly, especially his sweet daughter, Anara. His life revolved around family and work. He enjoyed collecting video games, knives, and guns. He tinkered on things, whether it was on cars or lawnmowers, etc. If it did not work, he wanted to find out why. Billy enjoyed playing video games, with Mortal Kombat as his favorite. He also liked to watch movies. Scooby Doo was his hero! Billy was dependable and honorable. He would help anybody who needed it. He had a funny sense of humor and love to pick on his family members, especially his niece Kayle. Family members all claim that Billy was spoiled by his mother. One of his favorite sayings was "Oh biscuit!" when something went wrong. Billy is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Linda Montgomery; daughter, Anara Montgomery; two brothers, Michael Shawn Montgomery, and Travis Montgomery and wife Michelle; his sister, Nancy Livingston and husband Bill; four nieces, Kayle Amador, Payton Palmer, Paige Montgomery, and Zoey Montgomery; his nephew, Andrew Tuttle and wife Kyndal; his uncle, "Bub" Sid Walker; and numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will be held from 10-8 Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home – Dewey Chapel, 113 S. Osage Ave., Dewey, OK 74029, 918-534-3030. Visitation will also be held from 9-noon on Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home – Dewey Chapel with the Reverend Randy Little officiating.
