Billy Joe Standridge

Billy Joe Standridge, age 85, of Dover, died Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born March 19, 1940, in Newton County to Toy and Frances Bernice Waldo Standridge.

He was a member of the Army National Guard. He retired from Mobley Construction and Kenner Construction and worked for Citgo for over 20 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Richard Grant; a brother, Dick Standridge; five brothers-in-law, Charlie Simpson, Jack Thomas, Charles Carroll, Jim Carroll, Roger Carroll; and a sister-in-law, Lois Carroll.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Patty Sue Standridge; two daughters and a son-in-law, Stephanie Jordan of Dover and Shannon and Keith Dotson of Dover; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Juan and Ona Mae Standridge of Dover and Jerry Standridge of Dover; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Glenna Sue Simpson of Dover, Doris Thomas of Mt. George, and Cherryl and Johnny Morphis of Rogers; in-laws, Bill and Kay George of Dardanelle; Ronnie and Glinda Carroll of Harkey Valley; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the Shinn Chapel with Bro. Bill Hampton officiating under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
