Blair Neff Obituary
Blair was born in Rockford, IL on May 9, 1956, son of LaVern Neff and Nancy (Cook) Neff. He graduated from Guilford High School, Class of 1974. Blair married Katherine M. Mancl on September 20, 1980, in Rockford. He worked as a pattern maker with N & S Pattern, a family-owned business for 48 years. Blair loved fishing, hunting, playing golf, watching NASCAR and he was a die-hard fan of the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He also enjoyed many family trips to their home at Woodland Beach Resort in Lake Mills, WI and to Deerfield Beach in Florida. Most of all, Blair cherished his time spent with family and loved ones, especially his dear grandchildren.
Those left to honor Blair's memory include his wife, Kathy Neff; daughter, Jenna (Juergen) Schuster; grandchildren, Luca and Oliver; parents, LaVern Neff and Nancy Neff; sister, Brenda (Dave) Habermann; stepbrother, Jeff (Beth) Benson; nieces and nephews, Amanda, Kailey, Josh, Carla, Scott, Jackie, Kirsten and Cara. He is predeceased by his stepmother, Jane Neff, stepsister, Julie Benson and nephews, Andrew and Matt Benson.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m.

Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear of Blair's passing. I was just thinking of you guys the other day and the fun we had at your house making Tom & Jerry's at Christmas time and the time you guys came down to visit me in Florida. His feet got so burned he couldn't wear shoes! May he Rest in Paradise.
