Blakely Joel Rogalsky was born April 18, 1995, in Oklahoma City to Joel Blakely Rogalsky and Tara Lee Brown. He passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 27 years. Blakely grew up in Edmond and attended Edmond Public Schools and graduated from Edmond North High School in 2013. Blakely was one that lived a life with many facets. He had a great sense of humor. With his great sense of humor was also a contagious smile. He had a passion for music. He understood it and could understand and feel the emotion in the lyrics. He could always find the newest up-and-coming band and seemed to know when it was going to be a hit. Blakely also had a unique taste in art and had a love for it. His culinary palate led him to always be in line at the newest trendy restaurant to give it his stamp of approval. Throughout the years, he liked skateboarding, and his competitive nature made him develop a love for games. He also had a love for clothing, especially shoes and shirts that displayed his favorite bands, even though some were unrecognizable. Blakely loved his brothers at Hope is Alive Ministries. He would tell you his favorite job was that of social media coordinator at Hope is Alive. His greatest love, however, which is indescribable, is his love for his 3-year-old daughter, Naomi Grace Rogalsky. In telling Blakely's story, perhaps the greatest date to mention is May 5, 2018. On this date, Blakely made his profession of faith in Jesus and publicly displayed that profession in baptism.
Blakely was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wilbert J. Rogalsky, and his Nana, Patricia A. Brown. He is survived by his mother, Tara Brown; father, Joel Rogalsky and wife Amy; his precious daughter, Naomi Grace Rogalsky; a brother, Braden Mack Rogalsky; step-sister, Ashton Wills; and grandparents, Judy Rogalsky and Jerry Brown. He will also be missed by his uncle, Tracy Brown; aunts, Julie Prilaman and husband Reed, and Joan Land and husband John; many cousins and extended family and friends; and his love and mother of Naomi Grace, Julia Wasinger.
