Waryan, Blanche (Ludvene Milbradt) Loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2013 at the age 85 years. Funeral service for Blanche will be Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11:00 am from the First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes with Reverend Wade Dutton Officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Blanche (Banny) was born September 11, 1927 in Sebeka, MN. Daughter of Albert and Clara Milbradt. Blanche's siblings included Florence Lewis, Mabel Kreklau, Linda Wells, Stella Olson, Rodney (Rock) Milbradt, Dale Milbradt, & Roy Milbradt. In 1957 Blanche married Jack Waryan from Minneapolis. They moved to Wahpeton, ND in 1960 where Jack accepted the Golf Pro position at the Bois De Sioux Country Club. In 1968, Jack accepted the Head Golf Pro position at the Detroit Lakes Country Club and the family moved to Detroit Lakes. A great team, Blanche worked the mornings at the club and Jack gave lessons and closed the shop at the end of the day. Blanche was a watchful presence and earned the respect of area golfers. Jack and Blanche were a team made in heaven and together they managed a multitude of public responsibilities. Blanche also served as a committee member for the Pine to Palm. Blanche and Jack had two sons; Marc Shor Waryan married to Roxanne Duval. They reside in Kansas City, Kansas, and Frank Jay Waryan and his Fiancé Selena Joslynn, who reside in Prior Lake, MN. Two Grandchildren, Annissa Marie Waryan and Alex John Waryan. Blanche enjoyed Ice fishing on Deadshot Bay (Curfman Lake) and Lake Melissa. During her retirement years, she loved sitting in her porch where she could watch the golfers swing away on the 15th tee. Blanche was very involved in her Church, Community, Meals on Wheels Winchester, and was a member of First Lutheran Church, Detroit Lakes. On line tributes can be shared at www.daviddonehower.com.
