Bob Denny, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, age 90 of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 21st, 2024. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Dorris Denny; parents, Jena and Martha Hudson; brother, Raymond Denny and sister, Mary Nell Davis.
He is survived by children, Bill (Kathy) Denny, Tim (Phyllis) Denny, and Deb (Allen) Clark; grandchildren, Ray Denny, Bethany (Thomas) Davis, Destini Usrey, Sydney (Chris Taylor) Tarrant, A.J. (Chloe Brock) Tarrant, Josh (Whitney) Clark, Chris Clark, Jeremy (Jina) Fisher, Michael Fisher, Jason (Kim) Guinn, Amber Roberts, Jessie Roberts, and Daniel Roberts; great-grandchildren, Zoey Davis, Lillianna Taylor, Harley Taylor, Oliver Usrey, Chase Fisher, Ava Fisher, Ryder Fisher, Breana Guinn, and Jonathan Pelleaux; sisters, Naomi Lewis and Jean Allen Hudson along with many other loving family members and friends.
Bob was a proud Air Force veteran who served in the Korean War. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and bird watching. Mr. Denny also had a passion for tinkering and woodworking and was a Mason and Shriner.
A funeral service for Mr. Denny will take place Thursday, October 24th, 2024 at 7 PM at Gladeville United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 3 PM until service time at 7 PM. Pastor Mark Youngman will officiate the service. Bill Denny, Tim Denny, Ray Denny, Thomas Davis, Allen Clark, A.J. Tarrant, and Cam Meadows will serve as honorary pallbearers. A private family burial will be held the following Monday at The Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Partlow Funeral Chapel is in care of arrangements.
