Bob Ragon, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away tragically on September 25, 2025, at the age of 57. He succumbed to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Jackson, TN, where he had made countless cherished memories over the years.
Born on January 18, 1968, in Memphis, TN, Bob was a proud graduate of Tennessee Tech, earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His professional journey led him to employment with Georgia Pacific (Dixie), where he dedicated himself to his work and his colleagues.
A man of profound kindness, Bob was known for putting the needs of others before his own. He was heavily involved with the Men's Ministry at Fellowship Bible Church of Jackson, where his commitment to service was felt by all who knew him. He had a genuine passion for helping others, which was a testament to his character and the values he lived by.
Beyond his professional and community endeavors, Bob was also a passionate motorcycle rider. His love for motorcycles was not just a hobby; it was a way of life that he embraced with much enthusiasm. He always found joy and freedom riding on the trails, sharing this passion with his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Amy Ragon, and their children, Jacob Ragon and Jordan Johnston (Crockett). He is also mourned by his brothers: Bill Ragon (Jayne), Jim Ragon (Mimi), and Joe Ragon (Renee'), as well as his sister, Betty LeNoir. Additionally, he leaves behind his mother-in-law, Tommie Sue Kirk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Hugh Ragon and Natalie Cockroft Ragon, who instilled in him the values of hard work and compassion.
A memorial gathering will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Fellowship Bible Church Chapel, located at 141 Pleasant Plains Rd, Jackson, TN, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m...
Bob Ragon’s legacy of love, service, and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for the kindness he spread and the passion he lived with.
