Bob Williams

Bob Williams, passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 71. Bob was born on December 30, 1954 to the late Robert Williams Sr. and Bertha (Merkley) Williams and was a 1974 graduate of New Albany High School. At the age of 15 Bob spent time as a volunteer for the New Albany Township Fire Department and in later years served as Chief. Along with his time spent with the fire Department he worked for the New Albany/Floyd County School Corporation in the Facilities Department. Bob retired in 2017 to spend more time with his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pamela (Zeller) Williams; his daughter Brittany Williams and his wonderful grandchildren, Hunter Faris and Aniyah Morris; his sister, Sue Williams; his nephew John Kappes and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 5 PM on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026, at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1119 E. Market St. New Albany, IN).

A celebration of Bob's life will begin at 5 PM Sunday in the Market Street Chapel.

His burial will be private at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that expressions of sympathy be made in Bob's memory to the American Diabetes Association.
