Bobbie Jeanette (Cripps) Dedmon, 69 of Indianola died Sunday, April 20, 2025 at her home.
Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Marlon Moore. Burial will follow at Indianola Cemetery, Indianola.
Bobbie was born to Robert and Eleanor (Lopez) Cripps on June 25, 1955 in Vacaville, California. She grew up in Gilroy, California where she attended school. She married Frank Dedmon July 15, 1972 in San Martin, California. She worked as a garlic inspector at her father's garlic plant in Gilroy and had also worked as a seamstress. She later was the Lead Custodian and McAlester Regional Hospital.
Bobbie enjoyed being outdoors. She liked to camp, fish, and swim. She also enjoyed sewing. Her grandchildren were her prided and joy and she enjoyed every moment she spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Cripps; mother, Eleanor Lopez; father-in-law, and mother-in-law, Theo "Ted" and Dorotha Dedmon; a nephew, Donald Ventura and niece, Tara Cacy.
Bobbie is survived by her husband, Frank of the home; daughters, Christe Quick and husband, Bill, Nicole Smith and husband, Dale; son, Coty Dedmon and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Jacob Smtih and wife, Emily, Jessica Perez and husband, Joseph, Emily Quick, Ryan Quick, Zachary Dedmon, Cheyanne Dedmon, Joanna Dedmon, Christian Dedmon; great grandchildren, Elijah Smith, Henry Smith, Kobe Perez, Kiaus Perez; sisters, Linda Braley and husband, Mike, MeMe Dawkins; brothers, Stevie Cripps and wife Rosalee, Lee Cripps and wife, Stella; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
