Jerrie Dawn Dedmon, age 72, of Mt. Juliet, was born on April 23, 1953. She married her high school sweetheart, Charles Dedmon and they had 3 children, 3 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Nothing mattered more to her than her family and God. She passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025 holding the hand of her husband of 53 years and surrounded by her loving family.
Jerrie was preceded in death by her mother Catherine Gaskill and a daughter, Wendy Kristine Jones.
She is survived by:
Husband – Charles Wilson Dedmon
Daughter – Stacey Renae Smith
Son – Charles Jason Dedmon
Brothers – Steve Gaskill and Ray Gaskill
Sisters – Vickie Mercer and Donna Clark
Grandchildren- Sierra (Truman) Gentry, Sidney (Bryan) Zamudio-Meza, and Kristofer (Becca) Jones
Great Grandchildren – Bralynn Gentry, Ben Gentry, Ryker Gentry, Addison Zamudio-Meza, Liam Zamudio-Meza, and Lucas Zamudio-Meza.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Friday August 15, 2025, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tip Mosley officiating. Interment will follow at Union Hill Cemetery in Brush Creek, TN. Pallbearers will be Truman Gentry, Ben Gentry, Kristofer Jones, Timmy Smith, John Holt, and Joe Gentry. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel.
