Bobbie Ethel Powell Gordon, age 91, of Benton, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 at Murray- Calloway County Hospital.
She was born on November 12, 1933 in Cranks, Kentucky to the late Roy and Edna Powell. Bobbie was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church and was the plant manager of the Mayfield Cap Factory. She was a devout Christian and enjoyed bible studies and spending time with her church family. Bobbie was a talented cook and would show her love for others through the dishes and desserts that she made, especially her fudge, fruit salad and baked apples. She cherished each and every moment she spent with her granddaughter and great grandsons; to them she was the very best "Gran".
She is survived by one son, Greg Gordon (Stephanie) of Benton; one daughter, Paula Davis (David) of Benton; one granddaughter, Summer Davis Barnes (Langdon) of Paducah; and two great grandchildren, Maverick Barnes and Theodore Barnes.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Gordon; her parents, Roy Powell and Edna Patterson Powell; one brother, Vernon Powell; one sister, Betty Jackson; and one infant sister.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home with Bro. Curtis Sams officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Day Jackson Cemetery in Cranks, Harlan County, Kentucky.
The visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home.
