On December 27, 2024, Bobbie J. Grice, 91, of Crestview, FL passed away peacefully and is in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A lifelong resident of Crestview, she was born February 28, 1933, in Malone, Florida. She was preceded in death by her mother Sarah Powell, loving stepfather Lloyd C. Powell, father Maxwell McAnulty, husband John W. Grice, and son Mike Grice. Bobbie is survived by her son Mark and wife Jo, 3 grandchildren Ashley Watson (Rich), John Grice (Sydney), Hayley Weese (Drew), and 3 great grandchildren Rowan, Charlie, and McCoy.
Bobbie graduated from Crestview High School and went on to receive her Associate of Arts degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. After marrying her husband Bill, they settled in Crestview, Florida where they became active members of the community.
Bobbie was a talented gardener and was a member of the Crestview Garden Club and the Crestview Women's Club for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved cat "Annie", tending to her beautiful yard, and playing piano. Bobbie spent much of her life nurturing others and leaves behind a legacy of kindness to all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial services on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am, with the funeral to follow at 11:00 am. Internment will be held at Live Oak Memorial Park.
