Bobbie Roberson Obituary
Bobbie Nell Roberson, a lifelong resident Preston, MS., passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13th, 2025, at the age of 75. Born in Philadelphia, MS, on Tuesday, September 20th, 1949, Bobbie was known for her warm heart and unwavering dedication to her family and community. Bobbie spent her career as a cherished cashier at Marvin's in Meridian, MS, where she greeted everyone with a smile and made lasting friendships with both colleagues and customers. She loved to read, cook, be outdoors and being with her family. She had a great memory and great sense of humor. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her dedication to her work, and her unwavering love for her family. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Walker, her son Jason (Kristina) Roberson; granddaughter Katilyn Walker; great-granddaughter Elizabeth Ross; sisters Dorothy Picardi, Elowease Sullivan; brother Jimmy Goodin.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years William Roberson; her parents Webb and Elizabeth Goodin; her sisters Virgie Tucker, Doris Culberson; brothers Wilbur Goodin, Benford Goodin, Roy Eugene Goodin and James Webster Goodin.
Pallbearers will be Elton Goodin, Calvin Goodin, Billy Ray Shelton, Danny Shelton, and Greg Lashley.
Honorary Bearers will be Keith Guy and Josh Ross.
