Thomas "Tommy" Michael Roberson, age 63, husband of Susan "Varla" Batrich Roberson, passed away at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, on Saturday, September 27, 2025. He was born in Elmhurst, Illinois, on April 1, 1962, to the late Thomas Albert Roberson and the late Judith Kay Roberson. Tommy, a passionate music producer and owner of The Dobro Shack, had an eclectic taste that spanned the soulful depths of blues to the heartfelt melodies of folk. He enjoyed creating beautiful music on his guitar that resonated with both joy and a sense of nostalgia. A devoted father, he cherished every moment spent with his daughters, imparting a wealth of knowledge that went far beyond music. Together, they built wooden treasures, painted, and shared tranquil days hunting and fishing in the great outdoors. Tommy was a figure of unwavering strength and confidence, radiating warmth and love as a husband and father, and he fostered a home filled with laughter, creativity, and cherished memories. In addition to his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by one sister, Tracy Roberson. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Gia Roberson and Jovanna Roberson, both of Clay City; one brother, Michael (Cathy) Roberson of Wayne, Illinois; one sister, Julie Roberson of Pinegree Grove, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. No services are scheduled. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hearne Funeral Home of Stanton.
