Bobby Houston Anglin

Bobby Houston Anglin went to be with the Lord at the age of 84 on August 19, 2024. He was born on May 30, 1940 to Terry and Estelle Anglin in Stella, Missouri. He attended McDonald County High School in Anderson, Missouri and graduated on May 15, 1958. After graduation he went to Tulsa, Oklahoma to study business at Draughon's School of Business.
Bobby married Joyce Elsea on August 12, 1961. Together they came to Dallas, Texas. Bobby worked at Mobil Oil Company in the accounting department. At night he attended Southern Methodist University and graduated in 1967 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. In 1967, Bobby went to work with Walter and Pat Smith and together they formed the accounting firm of Smith, Anglin and Company. Bobby was married to Joyce until she passed away in 1982. Bobby required a kidney transplant in 2016 and his donor was Karla Thompson. Subsequently in June of 2017, Bobby married Karla. Together they loved spending time with friends and traveling. They also enjoyed working together buying and selling real estate. Bobby enjoyed rodeos, fishing, developing real estate, buying oil and gas properties, and spending time with his family and friends. His happy place was sitting behind his desk. He would often say he was on vacation every day of the week.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Estelle Anglin of Jane, Missouri, and his brothers Clayton Anglin of Jane, Missouri and Bill Anglin of Bentonville, Arkansas.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Karla Anglin of Plano, Texas and his children Steve and Jackie Anglin of Dallas, Texas, Chris and Shara Lott of Parker, Texas, and Brent and Stefani Baldwin of Dallas, Texas. He had many grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. They include Bryce and Jordan Anglin of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Brock Anglin of Dallas, Texas, Landon and Alyssa Lott of Carrollton, Texas, Peyton and Mary Frances Lott of Dallas, Texas, Ashton and Carter Petty of Waco, Texas, Blake Baldwin, Ben Baldwin and Brooke Baldwin of Dallas, Texas.
Graveside Service at Jane Cemetery, will be held in Jane, Missouri on Tuesday, August 27 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Engage Hope Fund at EngageHope.org.
