Bobby Ross Black, born March 17, 1940, in Greenback, Tennessee, passed away Thursday December 11, 2025 after a long and fulfilling life marked by devotion to family, hard work, and quiet generosity. A proud graduate of Greenback High School and the University of Tennessee, Bobby spent 40 years in the business field, with most of his career dedicated to Maremont in Loudon, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Irene Black; his sister, Wanda Chapman; and his son-in-law, Rusty Belew.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Carol Black; his daughters, Crystal Belew and Pamela (Bo) Rice; his granddaughter, Jesse (Benjamin) Qualls; and his great-grandson, Auburn Qualls. He also leaves behind his most cherished granddogs-Maize Victor Blue (Rice), Franklin Rockford III (Qualls), and Maddie Wayne (Belew)-whose companionship brought him great joy.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 14th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m.
