Bobby Gene Davis, Sr., 87, the son of the late Willard and Cotha Davis, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at the VA Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Buckeye, Kentucky on September 15, 1938. Bobby is survived by a brother, Johnnie Davis, Nephews Jim (Jamie) Davis, Joey (Angie) Davis, Johnny (Maggie Farris) Davis, Niece Sue (Tony Harvey) Chapman, and a multitude of great and great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Cotha Davis, brothers, James and Billy Joe Davis, Sr., Son, Bobby Gene Davis, Jr., and nieces Lisa Davis and Angie Reynolds. Bobby was a proud Army Veteran, having served in the US Amry’s 2nd Armored division at Fort Hood, TX through the Cuban Missile Crisis. He also was a stellar mechanic, completely restoring a 56 Ford Fairlane in which he would show pictures to anyone willing to see. He loved all his babies and will truly be missed. The family has chosen cremation and graveside services will be held at Camp Nelson National Cemetery on Friday December 19, 2025 at 12:30 PM. This obituary was lovingly submitted by the family. " If ever there comes a day where we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'LL STAY THERE FOREVER! Arrangements are under the direction of Hager and Cundiff Funeral Home and we would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Davis family and friends.
