Bobby Gonzales

Bobby Gonzales, 79, of Lubbock passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022. Viewing and visitation for Mr. Gonzales will begin Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Friday, July 29, 2022, 10:00 a.m., at St Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Raymundo Manriquez officiating. All arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home.
Bobby was born December 26, 1942, in Big Spring. Texas to the late Guadalupe and Lilia Gonzales. He worked in a restaurant as a cook for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed socializing. cooking and working for Tips Equipment, El Charro, and El Sombrero restaurants. He was known to be a very kind, generous, and patient person. However, Bobby's greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bobby is preceded in death his parents; a son Pedro Gonzales Jr.; and a brother David Gonzales; five sisters; Gloria Lucero, Rosa Perez, Lupita Gonzales, Maria Louisa Gonzales, and Linda Gonzales.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Jessica Gonzales, Linda Gonzales and Angelica Gonzales all from Albuquerque, NM; one brother; Joe Gonzales of Lubbock; three sisters Maria Arredondo, Josie Vara and Margie Chavira all from Lubbock; one stepson Charlie Gonzales from Albuquerque, NM; a girlfriend Mary Castro Ybarra from Lubbock; and a host of grandchildren.
