Bobby Len Hackworth

Bobby Len Hackworth, 79, husband of Charlene True Hackworth, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. He was born August 28, 1946, in Scott County, to the late Raleigh and Leona B. Duncan Hackworth. He was a graduate of Scott County High School, was a retired second level manager at IBM/Lexmark. He was a faithful member of Georgetown First United Methodist Church. Bobby was an avid reader, loved history and nature. He enjoyed traveling, Scott County and UK sports, and attending church activities. In Bobby's spare time, he would enjoy relaxing by coloring gray scaled pictures and playing with his beloved cats.

Bobby will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, 10 months, and 7 days, Charlene True Hackworth, daughter, Kelley Len Hackworth of Georgetown, brother in law, James Elwood Sharron of Santa Rosa, Florida, niece, Tabatha McEldred of Santa Rosa, Florida, nephew, Jon Patrick Sharron of Paris, best friend, B.J. Wasson of Winchester, and numerous cousins, friends, and his beloved church family. In addition, he leaves behind two special fur babies, Stella Grace and Jasper Henry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Hackworth Sharron.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Georgetown First United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, also at Georgetown First United Methodist Church with Pastor Andrew Singh, and Pastor Mignelis Lazcano Officiating. Burial will follow at Georgetown Cemetery where Pallbearers will be Jon Patrick Sharron, Larry Duncan, Pastor Bobby Carlton Duncan, Gary Duncan, Matthew Virse, Erik Johnson, Judge Bolton Bevins and Miguel Lazcano.
