It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bobby J. Mahala, a beloved father, grandfather, and brother, who left us on August 7, 2025. Born on March 29, 1955, in Maryland, Bobby spent his life working as a roofer in the construction industry. He was known for his hard work, determination, and unwavering dedication to his family.
Bobby is survived by his cherished children, Michelle Cummins and her husband Gregory, Kelly Figueroa and her husband Santos, Carleen Miller, Michael Mahala and the late Virginia Mahala. Bobby's family was his pride and joy, including his beloved grandchildren, Caiden Schell, Adam Dilley and his wife Haley, Conner Figueroa, Autumn Monterrozo, and Kayleigh Gomez, who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. He also leaves behind his brother Donald Mahala and was predeceased by his brother John Mahala.
In honor of Bobby's life, a public viewing will take place at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at noon. Bobby will be laid to rest at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
