Bobby Monday Obituary
Bobby R. Monday, 81, of Columbia, Kentucky, formerly of Shelbyville, passed away, Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at The Willows of Shelbyville.
He was born November 13, 1941, in Liberty, Kentucky, the son of Walter and Cathran (Holt) Monday.
Bobby is survived by his daughters, Tammy Wood of North Vernon, Sandy Monday of Sullivan, and Norma Monday of Vincennes; sons, Randy Monday and wife, Gina, and Stephen Monday, both of Rushville, and Roger Monday and wife, Jennifer, of Vincennes; companion, Judith Jeffers of Columbia; several brothers and sisters including, Joan Monday, Grace Monday and Nancy Monday; half-brother, Johnny Patterson; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and companion, Delcie Marie Smith.
Bobby attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Columbia.
He formerly worked at PPG (now Knauf Insulation).
Visitation will be from 10 am to noon, Friday, October 27, 2023, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will follow at Noon on Friday, at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Indiana Chapter, 50 E. 91st St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240.
