Bobby D. Newton

Bobby D. Newton, 90, beloved father and grandfather, of Burleson, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, in Burleson, Texas.
A graveside committal service celebrating his life will be held at Holly Hills Cemetery in Granbury at a date to be announced.
Bobby was born on April 27, 1932, in Littlefield, Texas to Isaac and Unie Newton. Bobby proudly served his county in the US Navy during the Korean War. Bobby married Margy Allcock on November 14, 1955 and together had three children, Donny, Ronny, and Shawntina. He worked for General Motors before retiring after 30 years. Later he worked for the US Corps of Engineers. He enjoyed the little things in life like his Diet Coke! Most of all, Bobby will be remembered for his Big Heartedness and for the love he had for his family.
Bobby is survived by his children, Donny and wife Tessie Newton, Ronny and wife Sandi Newton, and Shawntina and husband Scott Nance; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and by his beloved dog, Peppy.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Margy in April 2022.
