Bobby Joe "Crip" Relford, 75, of Commerce passed away at home under hospice care. Bobby was born on December 17, 1949, in De Kalb, TX to the parentage of Joe Verl Relford and Doris Easter Relford. Bobby received his education and attended Commerce Schools. Bobby was also in the Army National Guard. He worked for the Ford House but spent many years at Williams Motors in Commerce, TX. Bobby was married to Melinda Gholston until her death. Later he married Lisa Finnie.
Bobby leaves to mourn his memories: sons Daren Moore (Belinda) of Washington D.C., Grayson Johnson and wife of Dallas, TX and daughter Christian Relford of Henderson, TX; stepchildren Demitra Johnson of Oklahoma, Jay Alexander of Commerce and Danielle of Dallas; a host of grandchildren and step grandchildren; brothers Billy Joe Relford (Erica Wilkerson) and Benny Joe Relford, sister Delois Williams (Maurice Ford) all of Commerce, sister/cousin Gene Williams, loving stepbrothers and sisters: Rose Sims, Annette Judkins, JoAnn Finney, Aileen Brown, Kim Finney, Aurthur Finney and Benny Finney, special godchildren Eddie Dean and Adrian Burley.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife Melinda Gholston Relford, parents Joe Verl Relford and Doris Finney, stepfather Willie Finney, brothers: Henry Joe Relford, Billy Ray Barber, Jeffery Lynn Relford, Anthony Lynn Relford and Richard Elton Relford.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 26,2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. Shawn Pannell officiating.
