Bobby Wayne Sirmans

Bobby Wayne Sirmans, age 82, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, in the care of Good Shepherd Hospice after a 3+ year battle with lung cancer and an almost 10-year battle with dementia.
He was born near McAlester, OK on July 5, 1952, the 5th of 5 children. He lived in OK and TX until he joined the National Guard, where he met the love of his life in St. Louis, MO. After their marriage he moved to St. Louis, where they lived until they relocated to FL in 1985.
Bobby lived his life with happiness, laughter and love for family. He was a mechanic by trade (hydraulic/auto) and loved cars, especially Mustangs. He was always positive and even when he couldn't get out of bed he would say, "I'm pretty good, I guess" and his favorite exclamation was "Yeehaw!"
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta (Prosser) Sirmans; father, Olen Lee Sirmans; mother, Gladys "Ruth" (Burton) Forrest; brothers William and John Sirmans; and sisters Anne (Sirmans) Sutton and Mary "Betty" (Sirmans) Hughes; along with many other nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Sirmans) Erickson; son-in law Arthur H Erickson; and granddaughters Crystal Squires and Alicia Erickson.
