Born in Laurens, she was the daughter of the late James Walter and Clara Wilson Taylor. Bobbie Jean was a very active member of St. James Methodist Church, loved working with the children at Carrot Stew Daycare, and was an inspector with 3M - American Lava.
Bobbie Jean is survived by sons, Tony Johnson of Greenwood and Greg Johnson (April) of Ft. Inn; grandchildren, Taylor Johnson of Mt. Pleasant, Anna Johnson Godfrey (Chris) of Greer, and Ellie Johnson of Greer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. James Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Clyde Scott and Rev. Bob Allen. A visitation will be held at St. James from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, prior to the service.
