Bobby Sue Weisz, a beacon of kindness and strength, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025, at the remarkable age of 96. Born on September 8, 1928, she filled her years with love, laughter, and a profound commitment to her family.
Throughout her life, Bobby demonstrated the extraordinary capacity of the human spirit. Bobby was an unassuming powerhouse who carried herself with humility and grace. Bobby worked tirelessly throughout her career, only pausing to raise her beloved children. Her professional accomplishments were numerous, including being a published writer, with one of her proudest achievements being a feature in Readers Digest.
Bobby was dedicated in her Christian faith, a generous and gentle soul, who brought warmth to everyone she encountered. She was known for her kindhearted nature, often demonstrating remarkable humor, even in her final days as she continued to share jokes. To say that Bobby was a source of light for her family would be an understatement; her laughter and joy were truly infectious.
Her spirit of adventure was reflected in her love for travel—camping trips with her husband, foreign adventures, and exploring the United States as snowbirds filled their memories together. A passionate reader, she immersed herself in books that transported her to new worlds, enriching her own narrative along the way.
Bobby is survived by her devoted sons, David and Paul, and her daughters, Paula (James Lokey) and Karen. She leaves behind five cherished grandchildren and seven adoring great-grandchildren who will hold her memory close to their hearts.
Though she has departed this world, Bobby's legacy of love, kindness, and countless beautiful memories will continue to echo through her family. In every laugh shared, every story told, and every tender moment remembered, she will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
