Bocca Lou Cagle

Memorial services for Bocca Lou Bullock Cagle, 92, of Gilmer, will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Gilmer Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Chance Henson and Bro. Charles Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm, an hour prior to the service. Private interment to be held at Hopewell Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of McWhorter Funeral Home.

Bocca was born in Rosewood, Texas, on November 3, 1933, to Travis Bullock and Bertie Bell Chamberlain Bullock and passed from this life on January 5, 2026, at her home in Gilmer, Texas. Bocca married Thurman Cagle on May 10, 1952, at Johnson's Chapel. She was a faithful member of Gilmer Church of the Nazarene.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Gerald Neil Cagle, and his wife, Cindy; daughter, Pat Denise Cagle; son-in-law, Shaun Powers; daughter-in-law, Kim Cagle; 7 grandchildren, Michael Cagle, Dustin Cagle, Austin Cagle, Cody Powers, Matthew Cagle, Natalie Stuart, and Grey Cippele; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Bertie Bullock; husband, Thurman Cagle; daughters, Carol Ann Cagle and Karen Kay Powers; son, Thurman Scott Cagle; sister, Mary Alice Caldwell; brother, Charles Wayne Bullock; and her grandson, Hunter Cippele.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 100 West Hawkins Pkwy.
