Bonnie, as she was affectionately known, grew up in Sayreville, NJ and attended Our Lady of Victories Catholic School. She would later attend and graduate from Sayreville War Memorial Highschool.
After graduating, she met and married Richard Joseph Mascarello Sr. and had three children. She settled in the Old Bridge-Parlin area, where she owned her own cleaning business and helped raise her three grandchildren. She relocated to Pooler, Georgia in 2008 to reside with her daughter.
She will forever be known as "Nanny" and her sole purpose in life and one she wore proud and rightfully so, was the love and caring of her family. Each holiday, meal, and occasion was always filled with love, light, and laughter.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents George James Valosin Jr. and Rose Anita (Wnek) Valosin, and her brother Roger Keith Valosin.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Richard J. Mascarello Jr. and his wife Cathy, Christine Ruscoe and husband John (Rocko), and her son Joseph G. Mascarello and wife Monni, her loving grandchildren and their partners, Steven Tyler Ruscoe and his wife Brittney, Jessica Elizabeth Ruscoe and Jeren Whitsey, Christina Marie Mascarello and Seth Heron, and Erika Muck and her husband Anthony, her great grandchildren Remi Nicole, Leonardo Joseph, Conner, and Ashlynn, along with many loving extended family and friends.
May her memory never fade, and her love live on within us forever.
Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin will be on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 9am until 11am, with an 11am funeral service at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Jamesburg.
