Bonnie Sue "Nana" Sandhoff, passed away on December 12, 2023, in Waco, Texas, at the age of 86. She was born on November 10, 1937, in Hallsburg, Texas, to Clarence and Minnie Mae (nee Derrick). Bonnie was a loving mother and grandmother who never met a stranger. She spent every waking hour checking in on her family and worked hard her entire life.
Bonnie is survived by her children Debra Adamek, Kenneth Sandhoff and wife Kim, Ronnie Sandhoff and wife, Glenna. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jody Phifer and husband Dan, Stephanie Shugart and husband Jason, Jason Adamek and wife Amber, Keith Sandhoff and Chasitie, Jeremy Adamek and wife Jackie, Cody Sandhoff and wife Laci, Kayla Sandhoff and Scotty. Additionally, Bonnie is survived by her great-grandchildren Bryant Shugart, Lauren Lockhart, Cole Shugart, Jackson Adamek, Dylan Phifer, Gage Sandhoff, Shelby Shugart, Camryn Oden, Karingten Sandhoff, and Sutton Sandhoff. She is also survived by her brother Tommy Derrick and wife Sue, sister-in-law, Linda Derrick, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, William "Dub" Sandhoff, her parents, Clarence and Minnie Mae Derrick, her brother Charles "Pooch" Derrick, and her grandson Derek Sandhoff.
Bonnie attended Hallsburg Primary School and later graduated from Riesel High School. Throughout her career, she worked at Clarks, Gibsons, JC Penney, and later retired after many years at Olan Mills.
Bonnie's hobbies included reading and collecting books, playing dominoes and card games and taking care of others when she was able.
The funeral services for Bonnie Sue Sandhoff will be held at Pecan Grove in Robinson, Texas. The funeral home is assisting the family during this difficult time.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Bonnie Sue Sandhoff, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the doctors and nurses at Providence Hospital, Providence hospice team, and the care team at Ridgecrest Retirement and Health Care.
