A Taylorsville resident, Mrs. Bonnie Rose Stevens, age 91, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Signature Healthcare of Spencer County. She was born May 7, 1934 in Nelson County to the late Otha and Ethel Taylor Noel. Mrs. Stevens was a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of Revenue and Spencer County Schools cafeteria and was a member of Taylorsville Community Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Morris, a daughter-in-law, Wanda Jo Stevens, a grandson, Robbie Stevens, 6 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by her sons, Ricky (Michele) Stevens of Taylorsville, Mike Stevens of Bloomfield, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Rose Stevens will be 1:00 pm Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Sister Mavis Bennett and Bro. Junie Temple will officiate. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00-8:00 pm and Friday after 10:00 am until time of the funeral service. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
