Bonnie F. Vaughn, age 92, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, at Churchill Terrace, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 29, 1932, in Fulton, Missouri, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Arthur Vandelicht and the late Eva (Laube) Vanbooven. She was also lovingly raised by her stepfather, the late Theodore Vanbooven, who was an important and influential part of her life. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and deep devotion to her family, faith, and community.

Bonnie was united in marriage to Dale Vaughn on June3, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2018.

Bonnie had a lifelong passion for flowers, which led to a fulfilling career as an assistant florist. She was also a proud member of the Women's VFW Auxiliary and a longtime member of Central Christian Church.

She cherished time with family above all else-whether playing cards, growing flowers, or sitting down to meals made with love. Friday night dinner dates with "the gang" and Saturday morning breakfast with the ladies were among her favorite traditions. The two also enjoyed traveling together, creating lasting memories across the miles.

Bonnie was a devoted sports fan, proudly cheering for the Mizzou Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals, and Kansas City Chiefs. Her greatest joy, however, was cheering from the stands as her grandchildren played their own sports-always their biggest and most enthusiastic fan.

Bonnie's memory will be cherished by her daughter, Sandra Kelley (Pat); her grandsons, David Kelley and Jordan Kelley (Linnea); and her great-granddaughter, Emilia, all of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dale Vaughn; her daughter, Rhonda Vaughn; her brother, Sonny Vandelicht; and her sister, Betty Benson.

Funeral services will be held at Maupin Funeral Home on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Nathan Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Callaway Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Central Christian Church, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Blvd, Fulton, MO 65251.
