Bonnie Lee Wiser

Bonnie Lee Wiser, 82, went home to be with her Lord Monday, September 22, 2025.

Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Geraldine (Dewalt) Lockridge and wife of the late Robert Wiser, who passed away in 2010.

Bonnie graduated from Carlisle High School in 1961. After graduation, she worked in the office of the former Kinney Shoe Corp. in Carlisle.

She then worked for the former Masland Carpet Co., in Carlisle for 27 years as a switchboard operator, customer account correspondent and private secretary. During the last few years she worked at Masland, she was also the editor of the Panorama newsletter, which went all over the country where the Masland Territory Managers had accounts.

Before retiring, she worked approximately 7 years as the receptionist at Chapel Pointe Retirement Facility.

She volunteered at Project S.H.A.R.E. as a receptionist and made all the greeting cards for volunteers when they were sick. As a young girl, she also sang as Little Bonnie Lee with the Blue Mountain Ridge Runners on the radio and at local venues.

Bonnie loved her family, her church family and foremost her God.

Survivors include her son: Lenny Dietz (Katherine), of Carlisle; her granddaughter: Jessica McCoy, of Carlisle; her grandson: Corey Dietz, of New Jersey; her great grandson: Roman Dietz, of New Jersey; her brother: Tracy Lockridge (Andrea), of Virginia as well as her sister: Barbara Lightner, of Carlisle.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2025 at Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, where the family will greet guests after 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
